Read below what applies to you.
Bachelor's and premaster's students can request a modification in their study programme.
The Examination Board must give approval for the programme (or track) that you wish to take within your study programme. The content of your programme must be in accordance with the Education and Examination Regulations (EER), the details of which must be submitted to the Examination Board three months before the exam application is submitted. Individual modifications to the programme (also including distinctions) must be requested from the Examination Board before the exam application is submitted.
You can download the request form below. Save the form as a PDF document, check that all of the information is readable and email it to the Examination Board: fnwi.examcies [at] science.ru.nl. You are responsible for submitting the form with your range of subjects in its entirety, so make sure that no information has been omitted when you convert the document from Excel to PDF. Adjust the print range if necessary. Only forms that are sent by email to the aforementioned address will be processed. Please include the following information in your email: your name, your student number, your study programme and the phase of your studies that you are in. Include your name and student number in the subject line of the email. Make sure that your application for programme approval includes both the correct course codes and course names. The course codes and course names can be found in the course guide; one way of locating these is to use the course finder. Any form that is incomplete cannot be processed. The Examination Board will review your study progress if it is essential to the decision-making process.
The Examination Board must give approval for the programme (or track) that you wish to take within your study programme. The content of your programme must be in accordance with the Education and Examination Regulations (EER). Students of the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies and the Faculty of Science need to fill in a form.
Download the required form below for approval of your Master’s programme. The form contains additional information. You can also use this form if you wish to change the composition of your programme (or track) during your study programme.
* Please note: For students in the ‘Philosophy of a Specific Area of Science’ Master’s programme, the programme will initially need to be discussed with the endowed professor or with the coordinator who is responsible for the relevant programme track before approval can be sought from the student advisor and the Examination Board.
Your cohort is defined as the year that you started your study programme, provided that your starting date is 1 September. If you started studying on a different date, use the year that is closest to 1 September. E.g., for students who started studying in February 2016, their cohort was 2015.
If your cohort is not specified in the forms below, please contact the student advisor.
Please note: Programme approval is separate from admission and registration and will only be given after admission to the programme has been granted and/or registration for the study programme has been completed. Registration will take place in the usual way (Studielink, Radboud University). Read more about applying for a Master's programme.
