For many courses, you will need books, readers, dictations or other course materials. Which course materials you need can be found in the study guide. If (compulsory) course materials are required, you will find them in the study guide per course under the heading “Materials”. Other required materials can also be shared during the course by the teacher in Brightspace.
Ordering books
- The study association of your study programme often offers a discount on study books. Check their website or contact them for more information.
- You can find second-hand books at Marktplaats and bol.com, for example. There are also various Facebook groups where students offer used books.
- Many study books can also be borrowed or read at the University Library, sometimes also as e-books.
Ordering readers
A Printing on Demand system is used to order dictations, readers and syllabi. If you need a reader, manual or dictation for your course, order it from the dictation centre:
Please note that after placing an order, it takes 5 business days for the order to be ready, so be sure to order your dictations on time. It may happen that the dictation you need is not yet on the list. In that case, the text has not yet been delivered to the dictation centre and we recommend that you check the order site regularly to see if it has been added.
