1. Start-up subsidy

If you are planning to set up a student organisation, you can apply for a start-up subsidy. To be eligible for the subsidy, your application should (amongst other things):

  • make clear what your organisation adds to the current offer in Nijmegen;
  • show that enough students would like to join your organisation;
  • demonstrate that your organisation is and remains viable.

More information can be found in the appendix ‘subsidy regulations’ below. Apply for this subsidy using the form at the bottom of this page and select ‘Start-up subsidy' for a new student organisation’. Always consult with SLIM staff before submitting your application

2. Subsidy for an annual budget

If the expenses in your annual budget turn out to be greater than your income, resulting in a deficit, you can apply for a subsidy. You will be eligible for a subsidy if your student organisation is an accredited organisation. Your application should include:

  • A description of your organisation, and details of its objective and target group;
  • A paragraph on how the plan will contribute to sustainability;
  • A paragraph on how the plan will contribute to diversity;
  • The audited accounts for the previous financial year with explanatory notes;
  • The annual budget and balance sheet with explanatory notes.

You can find more information in the attached subsidy regulations. You will need to apply for the subsidy for an annual budget between September 1 and November 1. For this purpose, please use the form below, and select Annual Budget.

3. Subsidy for an incidental project

If your expenses have turned out to be greater than you budgeted for in your annual budget, for example because one of your events needed to be organised on a larger scale, you can apply for a incidental project subsidy. Your application should include (amongst other things):

  • Details of your objective and the project’s target group;
  • Details of the hosting parties;
  • Details of the communication plan;
  • A paragraph on how the project will contribute to sustainability;
  • A paragraph on how the project will contribute to diversity;
  • The budget and balance sheet with explanatory notes.

You can find more information in the attached subsidy regulations. You will need to apply for the incidental project subsidy at least two months before the project starts or the event is held. For this purpose, please use the form below, and select Incidental Project.
