Bachelor’s graduation ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year 

In April and October, you can collect your diploma at the Diploma Services desk. Applications for the desk collection on 23 April 2026 can be submitted up to 19 March 2026. Applications received after this date will be processed for the next desk collection, which will take place in October.

graduation ceremonies

The graduation ceremonies will take place on Friday 16 October 2026 and Friday 30 October 2026 (dates are subject to change). Unfortunately, it is not possible to indicate a preferred date. Applications can be submitted up to 14 September 2026.

*If you indicate that you wish to attend the graduation ceremony in autumn 2026, you will receive your diploma in the autumn. Your examination, however, will already be registered with DUO.

Master's ceremonies

Would you like to participate in a graduation ceremony of your programme? Please make sure to submit your diploma application before the stated application deadline. If you apply for your diploma after this date, you will be scheduled for the next ceremony. The exact time and location of the ceremonies will be announced by Diploma Services by email approximately two weeks prior to the ceremony. Therefore, please ensure that your most recent private email address is registered in Osiris (you can update this yourself via Studielink).

Master International and European Law

• Friday, 2 October 2026 – afternoon, Chapel

Medicine 

The Bachelor of Medicine has a graduation ceremony once a year at the end of the academic year. Students at any other time during the academic year can have their Bachelor's degree awarded by means of a desk-graduation at the FMW StIP.

For the Master of Medicine, students are expected to keep the four Tuesdays following the meeting of the examination board free for the presentation of the Master's degree. These meetings are monthly except for July. Students are scheduled for the diploma ceremony. A desk-graduation is not possible for the Master of Medicine.

Biomedical Sciences

For the Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences, there is a graduation ceremony once a year, which is at the end of September. Students who obtain their Bachelor's during the academic year may also choose a desk-graduation at the FMW StIP.

For the Master of Biomedical Sciences, there is a graduation ceremony four times a year: mid-September, mid-December, mid-March and mid-June. Students are expected to participate in the next Master's degree ceremony after the exam date is set.

Dentistry

Dentistry publishes the dates of the graduation ceremonies on Master Dentistry - Radboudumc. A desk-graduation is possible for the Bachelor and not possible for Master of Dentistry.

Molecular Mechanisms of Disease

For the Master's MMD there is a graduation ceremony once a year; the dates will be published on the Brightspace page 'MMD program information'. A desk-graduation is possible.

If you wish to take part in the ceremony, the Student Information Desk will need to have received your graduation application and be informed of all of the results that you have obtained at least six weeks before the ceremony. You will receive an invitation from Diploma Services no later than seven days before the ceremony. This invitation will contain all of the necessary information about the ceremony. If you do not receive an invitation, please contact the Student Information Desk.  

All of the ceremonies will be held in the Berchmanianum Chapel.

For each programme, there are a number of graduation ceremonies each year. Each exam date has a corresponding date on which the graduation ceremony takes place. On your exam application, you indicate whether you wish to attend this ceremony.

Please note that the time mentioned in the table is the time slot within which the ceremony will be held. The exact time of the ceremony will be communicated in an official invitation from Diploma Services about three weeks before the ceremony is held.  

In exceptional cases, the day or time may need to be changed. If this is the case, the relevant individuals will be informed.

If you wish to take part in a particular graduation ceremony, you will need to make sure that your examination date falls at least seven weeks before the ceremony when you apply for your qualification. Diploma Services will announce the exact time and place of the ceremonies via email about two weeks before the ceremony. This means that you will need to make sure that your current personal email address has been entered in Osiris (you can change this yourself via Studielink). 

In the tables below, at the bachelor's and master's degree ceremonies, you will find the 'latest application date'. This is the latest date by which you can apply for your degree in order to take part in the ceremony mentioned next to it. If you apply for your degree later than this date, you will take part in the next ceremony.

Diploma Services organises the presentation of the certificate together with the Radboud Teachers Academy. The qualifications will be awarded during an assembly, which may also be attended by a limited number of family members and friends. Students will receive the invitation and programme for the ceremony about 14 days before the ceremony is due to be held.
