LimeSurvey is online open source software, which allows you to design and carry out online surveys. You can use LimeSurvey if you study or work at the Faculty of Social Sciences or at the Faculty of Science.

Analysing data with ATLAS.ti

ATLAS.ti is a software programme used to analyse qualitative data. You can process different types of data; documents, audio clips, video clips, and photos. ATLAS.ti can thus also be used for ‘soft’ data, not just hard statistical data.

SPSS is a software programme that is often used within the social sciences. SPSS can be used to process and analyse large amounts of quantitative data.

Stata is a software programme that can be used to statistically analyse quantitative data. The programme offers several features that can be used to analyse data, visualise data, and create reports.

Transcription with aTrain

Transcription, the conversion of audio to text, is carried out within Radboud University at all levels of teaching and research. With aTrain, a secure, free tool is now available that works completely offline.

The Statistical and Methodological Advice Point (SMAP) is a service for (PhD) students from various programmes who have questions about processing and analyzing research data or interpreting results while performing their research.
