Campus card for students

All students that are registered at Radboud University have a campus card. You can use your campus card when you want to:

Reserve a study workplace;
Make use of the campus printers for printing, copying and scanning documents;
Make use of the facilities at the Radboud Sports Centre. You will need to take out a Sports Centre membership for this purpose;
Borrow reading materials from the university’s libraries;
Make use of the parking spaces at Radboud University. You will need to have a parking season ticket in order to use the university parking spaces.

Applying for your Campus Card

You will be issued with a campus card at the beginning of your studies. Your campus card will remain valid throughout the duration of your entire study programme. You will receive your card as soon as you have registered and uploaded your passport photo. You can read an instruction on uploading your photo at the bottom of this page.

Lost, stolen or damaged student card

If you have lost your student card, you can apply for a new one at the Central Student Desk. A new card costs €25.00. Payment by debit card is possible at the Central Student Desk.

If your student card is damaged or it has been stolen, it will be replaced free of charge. If your card has been stolen, you will need to be able to provide proof that you have reported the theft to the police. Damaged cards can be handed in at the Central Student Desk.

Benefits with your campus card

Your campus card also offers you benefits beyond Radboud University. Your card can be used to obtain discounts at a large number of restaurants, night spots, shops and museums. These discounts are not limited to Nijmegen, but are also available in many other cities in the Netherlands. You can even take advantage of these student discounts when you are abroad. Uploading a photo for you campus card

When you start your study programme at Radboud University, you will need to upload a passport photo for your campus card. Your passport photo must meet the following requirements:

The photo must be at least 100 and at max 600 pixels width;
The ratio (width/height) of the photo must be 3:4 (portrait orientation), example: a photo of 180 pixels width needs to be 240 pixels high.
The file must not be larger than 1MB; the photo must be in JPEG or JPG file format;
The photo must be recent;
Your head must be uncovered; you may not be shown wearing a cap or hat;
Your face must be completely visible;
Your head should fill as much of the photo as possible;
The photo must be in focus;
The photo must be in either colour or black and white.

Uploading a passport photo

Go to Osiris:

Click on your initials, on mobile in the upper left corner under "My details" in the hamburger menu. On laptop in the upper right corner.
Click on 'Edit' underneath your initials and click on "Edit profile photo"

To select the passport photo:

Make sure your passport photo meets the requirements mentioned above
Click on the [Upload a new file] button
Select the required passport photo in the dialogue box

To upload your chosen passport photo:

Crop the photo as desired
Check the preview of the photo that is shown on the screen
Click on the [Save profile picture] button to save your new passport photo
