The student advisor can help with any questions you may have about your study programme, your timetable or personal circumstances that may affect your studies.

Wat does a student advisor do?

Student advisors Faculty of Law

Are you struggling with something or do you have a question about your study programme? You can get in contact with the study advisors of the Faculty of Law.

Student advisors Social Sciences

Each programme in the Faculty of Social Sciences has a student advisor who can help you with questions about your study programme, your schedule or personal circumstances that may affect your studies.

Student advisors Faculty of Arts

Each study programme at the Faculty of Arts has a student advisor who can help you with questions about your study programme, your schedule or personal circumstances that may affect your studies.

Each programme of Nijmegen School of Management has a student advisor who can help you with questions about your study, your schedule or personal circumstances that may affect your studies.

Each programme at the Faculty of Science has a student advisor who can help you with questions about your study programme, your schedule or personal circumstances that may affect your studies.

Student advisors FFTR

Each programme in the Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies has a student advisor who can help you with questions about your study programme, your schedule or personal circumstances that may affect your studies.

Student Advisors Medical Sciences

Each programme in the Faculty of Medical Sciences has a student advisor who can help you with questions about your study programme, your schedule or personal circumstances that may affect your studies.

Student support staff

Student counsellor

The student counsellor can help you for free with questions or problems relating to personal circumstances that might lead to study delays, or with financial support or adapted studying.

Student psychologist

If you have psychological issues or complaints that affect your studies, you can receive guidance from a student psychologist.

Social worker

Our social workers can help international students with challenges and problems you may encounter when adjusting to a new environment.

Student chaplains

The chaplains are available for personal, confidential conversations. The chaplains offer a listening ear for things you might not be comfortable to discuss with your parents, friends and teachers.

Study trainer

If you are having trouble with your studies, our study trainers can provide the necessary guidance.

Study and career counsellor

The study and career counsellor can help you if you are uncertain about your choice of study or your future career.

Career officer

If you are still unsure about what you want to do after your studies and/or want to know how to work on your career already, you are able to receive free advice from a Career officer from your faculty.

Ombudsofficer students

The Student Ombudsofficer is an independent, authoritative and impartial officer appointed by the Executive Board.

Confidential advisors students

Students who do not feel safe in their studies, internships or coships, are faced with a conflict, suffer from undesirable behaviour, such as (sexual) harassment, bullying or discrimination, can contact a confidential advisor.

Writing coach

If you need to complete a written assignment for your studies, discussing your work with others will usually benefit your writing. The writing coaches from Radboud Writing Lab would love to discuss your work with you.
