Social worker

As an international student, you may encounter challenges and problems when adjusting to a new environment, culture and phase in your life.

Our social workers can help you with these.

Contact team Social Work

If you need help with various general matters that you may be struggling with, such as:

  • having trouble applying or registering with Dutch organisations and the information about the organisations is insufficient
  • looking for social and medical support in Nijmegen and you are unfamiliar with the local possibilities
  • feeling lonely or can’t point your finger on a specific problem yet
  • not feeling comfortable in group settings or at your home

Workshops and trainings

Team Social Work also organizes workshops and other events such as the Midsemester Meetup. Keep an eye on the Radboud student newsletter, the Radboud website and the socials of Radboud International Students for more information.

The Social Worker can also help you with referral to other professionals.

And good to know: a visit with a social worker is entirely free of charge!
