Master your Mood (Grip op je Dip) is designed for young people with mild psychological complaints.
Master your Mood offers free, anonymous and proven effective help to young people at www.gripopjedip.nl. You can join an online group course with other students (using a nickname and without camera or sound). In 6 weekly sessions you will work on your mood, and learn to turn negative thoughts into more realistic, positive thoughts. Courses start at different days and times. Apart from the regular courses Master your Mood offers courses for LGBTQI+ youths and courses in English. De content of all courses is the same.
Worries about substance use
Do you notice that you use alcohol and/or drugs more or more often than previously planned? Or are you worried about someone close to you and their substance use?
As a student, it can be difficult to talk about this openly, especially if you are not sure if it is really a problem. Fortunately, you don't have to take a big step right away. You can have an accessible conversation with a prevention worker. This can be done without a referral! Together, in 1 to 4 meetings, you look at what is going on and what your goals are. These are informal conversations in which you can discuss your situation, ask questions and get tools to move forward.
