Visiting research fellows
The Titus Brandsma Institute facilitates visiting research fellows. The TBI provides partial funding for this purpose.
The guest researcher is a researcher who operates in the research field of the TBI and whose research fits within the science plan. The guest researcher conducts independent research in the research field. The visiting researcher is assigned to the research line in which his or her research is situated. The duration of the guest researchership can vary from a few months to a year, with options for extension.
The TBI thus aims to fulfil its ambition in the Low Countries to be a leading international research centre for the study of the spiritual and mystical tradition, the various schools of spirituality in relation to practised religious life and the contemporary-social relevance of this spiritual and mystical tradition.
