University Elections 2026

From 18 to 22 May there will be Student Elections again. In these elections, students can vote for the University Student Council (USR), Faculty Student Councils (FSR), and the Programme Committees (OLC).

Will you represent the student's voice next academic year?

Are you interested in participating in one of these representative councils? If so, now is the time to consider whether you want to stand for election. Read about how applying as a candidate works for students. By participating in these councils, you make an important contribution to good co-determination within Radboud University. 

Timeline for the elections of the student participational bodies 2026

• 2 to 15 March: Every student will receive a notification via student email about how they are listed in the electoral register. You can check this and report any errors in your registration.
• 28 April to 4 May: Nominations. Time to register as a candidate. 
• 18 to 22 May: Elections. Time to vote.
• 28 May: Election results will be announced

Election lists 

Curious to see who you can vote for in the upcoming elections? After the nomination period you can view the election lists in the voting portal. You will automatically see the election lists that are relevant to you.

Good to know: there only is a choice to be made if there are more candidates than the number of seats available. Are there fewer candidates, or exactly enough? Then there is no need to vote for that specific council. It is therefore possible that you will not see all councils listed in the voting portal.
