Additional days off
You receive 232 hours of vacation per year (based on a full-time position), well above the legal minimum of 160 hours. This gives you plenty of time to recharge. You can also swap Good Friday for another religious or cultural holiday of your choice.

Flexible working hours
Would you like to work a little more or a little less? With a full-time position, your workweek may vary by 2 hours from the standard 38 hours. If you work 40 hours per week, you receive 96 extra vacation hours per year in return.
Tailored employment conditions
With the Selection Model, you can customise part of your employment conditions. For example, you can exchange salary, holiday allowance or annual leave for extra vacation days, additional travel allowance, or a bicycle reimbursement. This way, you choose what suits you best.

We believe it’s important to make time for your family. That’s why you can take up to 26 weeks of parental leave, with 70% or 62.5% pay for part of that period. This allows you to combine work and parenthood in a way that suits you.

Travel and remote work allowance
Whether you travel to campus or work from home, you receive an appropriate allowance. Each workday, you simply indicate where you worked, and the allowance is automatically arranged. In addition, you receive an internet allowance of €25 per month.

At Radboud University, you have plenty of opportunities to develop your talents and achieve your ambitions. We cover 50 to 100% of training costs aimed at your career development. Through our online learning platform gROW, you can also explore e-learnings, workshops, trainings, and programs that support your professional growth.

In addition, you receive a reimbursement of up to €120 a year (on a full-time basis) for art, culture, and sports, which you can use, for example, for a museum pass or sports subscription.

You accrue a pension with ABP. The university pays 70% of your pension contribution, and the remaining 30% is paid from your salary. This contribution covers your old-age pension, survivor’s pension, and incapacity for work pension.
