Do you enjoy organising events, working with international students, and making a real impact on the reputation of Radboud University worldwide? We are looking for an International Marketeer to support our international recruitment activities and thus our enrolments.
As an International Marketeer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive recruitment and enrolment strategy for Radboud University. Your focus will be on attracting talented international students and ensuring that recruitment targets are met. In doing so, you will directly contribute to strengthening the university’s global visibility and appeal while closely monitoring enrolments, identifying market trends and assessing results.
Your core responsibility will be coordinating Radboud University’s participation in international fairs, both virtual and on-site, manage relationships with agents and representatives, and build strong partnerships that support student recruitment.
Furthermore, you will combine strategic planning with hands-on execution. You will take the initiative and, together with the online team, design tailored campaigns for priority markets and ensure their effective delivery.
You will also serve as a central point of contact for international recruitment, collaborating closely with colleagues across departments and faculties to ensure a coordinated approach. Each year, you will contribute to the international team’s strategy day, at which the recruitment funnel is analysed, budgets are reviewed and new market trends and opportunities are translated into concrete plans for the year ahead.
This position offers the opportunity to combine strategy, relationship management and creative marketing in an international context. Most importantly, your efforts will directly support international students in finding their way to Radboud University and will contribute to strengthening the university’s reputation worldwide.
What has stayed with me from the very beginning is how helpful colleagues are. That open atmosphere makes working here a pleasure.
Charissa van Mourik
Project Manager, Savings Programme for University Operations
‘When I was studying Business Administration and applying for jobs at large commercial companies, I found myself wondering: would this really make me happy? At the same time, I was already working as a student assistant at Radboud University. When my supervisor encouraged me to apply for a new position within the university, I thought: this is a place where I can truly make a difference. I decided to stay and eleven years later, I still enjoy coming to work every day.
What has stayed with me from the start is the social relevance of the work. Whether I was supporting students going on exchange or, in my current role, contributing to programmes that improve our university operations, I have always felt that my work matters. And you’re never on your own here. Everywhere I have worked, I have met colleagues who are ready to help, share ideas and work things out together. The atmosphere is collegial and approachable: people easily drop by each other’s offices to brainstorm or solve something together. There is also room to celebrate successes or simply share a laugh. It makes you feel at home quickly and makes collaboration enjoyable.
The employment conditions are another major advantage. The university offers a lot of flexibility, which makes it easier to combine work and family life. With two young children, I really value being able to spend school holidays with them. It feels like a gift to yourself and to your children: the memories you create together stay with you forever.’
