"At Radboud University, I have a lot of freedom in the kind of work I do and how I approach it. There is a wide variety and choice of tasks, allowing me to gradually discover what suits me best. You can further develop yourself as a researcher or teacher, but there are also training opportunities in leadership. At which organisation can you freely pursue your interests like this? I became a teaching ambassador to promote collaboration in education. I find it incredibly inspiring to see how colleagues shape and innovate their teaching and to exchange this knowledge with other teachers. For example, how to make lectures more inclusive for neurodivergent students or how to use virtual reality to provide an interactive view of a muscle. It is great to have the space to come up with creative solutions and feel trusted to execute these ideas. Additionally, the green, beautiful, and central campus is a place I enjoy coming to. When I arrive at my building in the morning, I hear the birds chirping and the sounds of nature. The autonomy, creativity, space for collaboration, and the campus make Radboud University a wonderful place to work."
