The Radboud Management Academy (RMa) offers two scholarships to talented refugees for the part-time Master MSc Business Administration. On May 12, the RMa and The Foundation for Refugee Students UAF officially signed their cooperation agreement.
UAF aims to increase the chances of refugees to sustainably participate in Dutch society. They support the selected refugee students with extra guidance, by financing study materials and travel costs and by helping them to find a work placement.
With this RMa scholarship program, Radboud University implements the previously signed covenant between UAF and Radboud University. In October 2020 these two parties decided to intensify their cooperation and pay structural attention to talented refugees and their access to the Radboud University.
The two year pilot program is a win-win situation for both the selected refugee students, who will receive a scholarship for this usually costly Master program, as well as for the RMa students and lecturers, who will gain a new and diverse perspective in their classroom.
This initiative is also a great example of internal cooperation within the Radboud University, in which the Student Affairs department works together with the Radboud Management Academy, part of the Nijmegen School of Management.
We look forward to receiving the first scholarship student!
