"Nijmegen is relatively small, giving me the warm country feel that I have been missing."
Nationality: Italian
Programme: Master's in Medical Biology
Why did I choose Radboud University: I chose the Netherlands because I had previously lived in Eindhoven, during which the Netherlands started to feel like home. Hence, once I finished my Bachelor, I thought it would be the perfect time to move back. I decided on Radboud University specifically because it was the only university in Europe that offered a specialisation in Medical Epigenomics, which was what I was the most interested in studying. Moreover, I chose Radboud because the master's was in English, which was something that made it easier for me, and lastly, because Nijmegen is relatively small, giving me the warm country feel that I have been missing.
What am I looking forward to the most regarding coming to Nijmegen: I am looking forward to being in a relatively small city, which will allow me to meet new students and also fully appreciate the green nature. Nijmegen gives me freedom to meet people and explore a different culture.
A fun fact about myself: I collect souvenirs: I have a souvenir for each city that I visit.
