Radboud University

Do you have a refugee background and an academic or pre-academic background in your country of origin? Are you excited to get to know Radboud University and the Dutch educational system? Radboud Welcomes Newcomers might be what you are looking for.

At Radboud University we offer newcomers with a refugee background the chance to follow bachelor courses in our programmes for free. Whether you already have a status, or your procedure is still in progress: you are welcome.

Radboud University welcomes all newcomers with an academic background and a sufficient level of English or Dutch at our courses. By following courses at our university, you will get the opportunity to get acquainted with the Dutch educational system, to broaden or deepen your knowledge and integrate into the society. Moreover, you add new perspectives to our lecture halls, a valuable addition to all of our teachers and students.

The core of the project is following a course within the faculty. Besides that you will also receive:

  • An OV-chipcard
  • You can borrow a laptop for the duration of the course
  • You get a sports subscription at Radboud Sports Centre for the duration of the course
  • A buddy to help you find your way around at campus
  • Dutch Classes
  • Social activities
