On arrival

Arrival

Usually on the first day of the Orientation Week in August and January, there will be a registration day, unfortunately because of the Corona pandemic this has not been possible for the last two years.

Now most of you register with the SSH& or an estate agent and collect your room key there. In addition, you will get an information package, containing useful information about the university, the city of Nijmegen and living in the Netherlands. Detailed information about the registration days, including the venue and registration times, will be sent to you before arrival.

If you have a room sublet by a student or in a private house, you will need to make arrangements on where to get the key directly with the landlord or student.

Please note that if you have housing in one of our student complexes or at one of our estate agents it is best to arrive before 14.30 hrs. so you will have plenty of time to make all the arrangements before the end of the office hours.

Please note: If you have a room sublet by a student or in a private house, you can make arrangements on where to get the key directly with the landlord or student yourself. But do not forget to go to the International Office the next day to register.

Arrival after office hours

If you have booked a room via Radboud University, but you arrive in Nijmegen after office hours, you will not be able to pick up your room key upon arrival. Hence, you need to find alternative accommodation for the first night. To help you with that you can download tips on finding temporary (short stay) accommodation (pdf, 248 kB). You can also check out this website.

Please note: If you have a room sublet by a student or in a private house, you can make arrangements on where to get the key directly with the landlord or student yourself.
