At the beginning of each semester there is an Orientation week. Depending on the semester, this Orientation includes fun activities such as: tours of the university and the city, sporting events, parties, etc. By participating in this programme you will quickly get to know both Nijmegen and Radboud University, and make new friends from around the world!
If your study period at Radboud University starts in September, there is an Orientation in the third week of August which lasts a couple of days and ends in a fun weekend. If your study period at Radboud University starts in February, there is an Orientation in the first week of the semester.

Becoming a mentor for international students yourself?
After you have arrived in Nijmegen you can also become a mentor for other international students in Nijmegen yourself. Are you willing and able to invest time to guide other students with a different cultural background in finding their way around Nijmegen and at our university? Would you enjoy improving your English (or Dutch)? Are you interested in extending your social network? Helping at organising different social activities?
You can also have a look at all the other Social Activities RIS organises.
More questions? Please send an email to the RIS coordinators.
