Nationality: British
Programme: Master's in Global Environments and Sustainability
Previous Education: First Class Degree in Environmental Geography from the University of York (UK)
Why I chose Radboud: The primary reason I decided to do a Master's degree in another country was because I wanted to travel and experience life in a different environment. Making connections in foreign countries would also allow me to understand other cultures and ways of life so that I could bring these considerations into my life and future work in sustainability planning.
What I am looking forward to most in Nijmegen: There is too much to fit into one sentence! Everything from cycling everywhere to making friends for life excites me, even thinking of myself cycling back from the gym in the rain makes me so eager to get there!
A fun fact about myself: I'm also very passionate about painting. I primarily work in watercolours and oils! I hope to make some drawings/paintings whilst in Nijmegen. You can see my previous work on my Instagram @bethqwbu
