"I do love a good cup of coffee, especially shared with a friend or over a book. "
Nationality: Polish/Irish
Programme: Master's in Neurophysics
Previous education: I have done my undergraduate degree in physics at the National University of Ireland, Galway.
Why did I choose Radboud University: I chose Radboud as it is the only college in Europe to provide a course in neurophysics. Neuroscience is mostly a biological field but I wanted to see how physics can be applied within the neurosciences.
What am I looking forward to the most regarding coming to Nijmegen: Exploring the city and finding my favorite hang out spots. I do love a good cup of coffee, especially shared with a friend or over a book.
A fun fact about myself: My national identity is a bit ambiguous as I was born in Poland but I have lived in Ireland since I was a child. I guess I qualify as both and equally as neither. When I was a child I wanted to be a singer but then decided to find a more realistic goal, like a neurophysicist. I like to dance, if I could live life again I would be a ballet dancer.
My favorite motto is: "I can do it because I have to". This is my motivation for when I have an overwhelming amount of work to do.
