What is a certified copy?

*Please note that the Central Student Desk on our campus is currently open by appointment only.

A certified copy is a paper copy with a stamp that states that it is a true copy of the original document. A certified copy is also signed by the person who made it and stamped with a stamp of the institution where the copy was made. Usually, you can obtain certified copies free of charge at the secretary or the office of the registrar at your school or university. It is also possible to obtain certified copies at a notary public, municipality, ministry, or embassy, but these parties could charge a fee.

Please note: we cannot accept a copy of a certified copy. We require the original certified copy, which is always a paper document. We recommend to send the paper documents by regular post services or a courier as we cannot accept a scan of a certified copy sent by email.
