Our campus
Our green, environment-friendly and smoke-free campus is a wonderful place to work, study, meet friends, play sports, enjoy cultural activities and get a bite to eat. All facilities are within walking distance of each other.
From the center of Nijmegen you can reach the campus by bike within 10 minutes. The university is also very accessible by car and public transport.

Dual Career
When you move to Nijmegen to start working at Radboud University, we will also provide support to your spouse or partner. Our Dual Career Officer will assist in the search for work, leisure activities or anything else.
Family support
If you start working at Radboud University and bring your family, we will also support them, and help you find childcare, schools or anything else.

Immigration, visa and permits
Depending on your nationality, you may need a visa to enter the Netherlands, a residence permit or a work permit.

Registration and BSN
As a new resident of the Netherlands you are required to register with your local municipality. As soon as you register, you will obtain a Citizen Service Number (BSN).
Banking
When you start your life in the Netherlands, you will need a European IBAN bank account for your salary payments, preferably from a Dutch bank. In the Netherlands, credit cards are rarely used and you will need a debit card.
