Types of internships

Internship minor
The Internship Minor is intended for Faculty of Arts students who expressly want to orient themselves within the labour market as a part of their studies. This minor offers a thorough orientation in preparation for your future and will become part of your curriculum. Curious to learn more about the Internship Minor? Think Tank
If you started your bachelor's in 2018-2019 or after, you will take a 40EC minor in your third year. One component of this minor is the Think Tank. The Think Tank is a 10EC course that lets you explore a societal issue related to the theme of your minor. You will work in interdisciplinary groups, supervised by a lecturer. In the Think Tank, you will use the knowledge and skills you have gained in your studies and the other courses of the minor and will expand these further by learning from each other while working on the project. This will enable you to develop competencies for your professional future. MA Internship
During the course of your study, most Master's programmes offer the possibility to conduct practice-based research, to do fieldwork or to conduct applied scientific research for third parties.
Furthermore, if there are few options available, some studies offer the possibility of doing an internship involving practical activities related to the field of expertise.

Internship without credits
It is possible to do an internship and not receive any credits. In that case, you do not have to write an internship report and will not be assigned a supervisor within the university. Unfortunately, we can no longer provide you with an agreement. Please note that an internship without credits will usually not appear on your diploma.

* with the exception of the ReMa HLCS internships, which are 20 ECTS.
