Sign up networking with alumni

With this form, you can sign up to connect with an alumus for a video networking call. In order to find an alumnus that can help you with your specific questions or interests and to prepare for your conversation, please fill in this questionnaire.

To answer the questions, you will look for alumni on LinkedIn and find out where they work and how they got there. Please read the handout about LinkedIn and how to find alumni on the Career Service Arts website first. You will need a LinkedIn account to answer all the questions.

Based on your submitted form, we will look for a tailored match. Because of summer vacations it may take several weeks for us to work on your request and find a suitable match. If you prefer to finish your thesis or go on vacation first feel free to take your time. You can submit a request up to a year after graduating via the form on the Career Service Arts website.

Log in on LinkedIn and go to the Radboud University page. Click on the tab "alumni" (might be hidden under “more”) and check the search results to see where graduates from your study program ended up. Depending on your field of studies, it may help to try different search terms.

Write down what fields the alumni work in (for instance government, education, corporate, NGO etc.) en what job titles they have.

Now look closely at several profiles of alumni and see how their careers have formed over the years. Describe what you find and what you can learn from that.

What do your findings say about your own job perspectives. Did you find new inspiration or did your findings raise any questions? Do your findings line up with your expectations?
