Academic calendar

The academic year at Radboud University is divided into two semesters, which both consist of two periods (four periods in total). Please note that for semester 1, we expect you to be in Nijmegen from September until the end of January, and for semester 2 from February until mid July.

RU ready?


Upon arrival, there are a bunch of things you need to take care of. Find your way around campus, install WiFi, access the student portal and check your timetable. Take a look around on the dedicated RU ready website or go straight to:

Student Information Point

Once you are a student at the Faculty of Arts, the Student Information Point (STIP) is your main point of contact for all your practical questions related to your study programme. If you have any further questions after reading the information on their website or on the student portal, then you can come by the student information desk in room E7.02 from Monday to Thursday between 8:30 and 17:00 or on Friday between 8:30 and 16:00. The student information desk can also be reached by email (stip@let.ru.nl) and telephone (+3124-3612196).
