Welcome to the Faculty of Arts! Each year, an increasing number of international students find their way to Nijmegen. Students currently studying at Radboud University come from over 90 different countries. Therefore, we consider ourselves a truly international university. With Bachelor's and Master's programmes in the fields of language, culture, communication and history, the Faculty of Arts offers a wide range of courses to exchange students.
City of Nijmegen
Radboud University is located in Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands (over 2000 years old).It has over 177,000 inhabitans, of which 10% is a student, and is a safe and friendly place with a rich social and cultural life. By train, you are only 80 minutes away from Amsterdam.
A green and cultural city
Students appreciate the green surroundings and the many opportunities that the city offers for relaxation and entertainment. There is a lot more to the city of Nijmegen than just the university; it even has its own beach (Waalstrand).
Erasmus Student Network
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Nijmegen is an international student organisation in Nijmegen. Their aim is to provide meaningful intercultural experiences to all students in Nijmegen, whether they are here as an international or as a Dutch student.
