Humanities Lab

Researchers at the Faculty of Arts can make use of the facilities in the Humanities Lab. The Humanities Lab offers technical facilities for research within the Faculty of Arts. Humanities Lab is a collective name for three components:

  • CLS Lab - CLS lab has a physical location in the Erasmus building with six experiments rooms with different types of testing technology, such as eye trackers, EEG equipment and audio recording equipment.
  • Video Lab - the Video Lab has a physical location in the Erasmus building, and allows for professional video recording and editing.
  • Computer Lab - the Computer Lab consists of a group of ICT specialist who offer technical support for our researchers.

Faculty of Arts researchers are also licensed to use Qualtrics (online survey software) for the easy creation of digital questionnaires. In addition, the Humanities Lab offers statistical support and assistance for research in sign language. This service is provided for employees of the Faculty of Arts and affiliated guest researchers.

Ethics Assessment Committee Humanities

All research projects carried out in the CLS Lab and Video Lab must be assessed by the Ethics Assessment Committee Humanities (EACH).
