Academic diagnostic assessment of English

RADAr: academic language proficiency English/Dutch (for first year students)

With effect from the academic year 2020-2021, all bachelor students at Radboud University are required to complete a test of academic language proficiency in their first year. Students who are enrolled in an English-taught bachelor’s programme or an English-taught specialisation of a bachelor’s programme at Radboud University, take an academic diagnostic assessment of English: the RADAr (Radboud Academic Diagnostic Assessment) English. Students enrolled in a Dutch-taught bachelor’s programme or a Dutch-taught specialisation of a bachelor’s programme, complete an academic diagnostic assessment of Dutch: the RADAr (Radboud Academic Diagnostic Assessment) Dutch.

For more information, please consult course description LET-RADAR-EN or course description LET-RADAR-NL (depending on the language of instruction of your bachelor's programme).

Did you start your bachelor’s programme before September 2020?
Then the Academic language proficiency English test was linked to a B1 course. Please register for the new 0 EC course (LET-RADAR-EN) in order to be able to take the test again this year (2020-2021). Only then you can pass the B1-course the test was linked to when you started your bachelor’s programme.
