Registering for exams and resits
The exam and resit periods take place four times a year in accordance with the Faculty annual calendar.
In order to participate in an exam, you have to register on time in Osiris. Check the registration deadline for each exam date below. Always check Osiris to verify that you are registered for an examination opportunity.
If you are having difficulty registering, contact the Student Information Point (STIP) of the faculty that is administering your exam.
Checklist for a (re)examination
Please note that from 1 January 2024, digital tests will require you to know your password and student number by heart. You are not allowed to use a phone during the test, so you cannot access passwords you have stored on your phone. See the button below for more information.
Rules and special facilities
- Make sure that you are prepared for your exam and that you understand the applicable rules.
- If you have a specific need or a functional impairment for which special services are required (e.g. extra exam time due to dyslexia), you can apply for special provisions. Always check that you have been properly registered for this provision in advance.
Are you an exchange student?
If you are an exchange student at Radboud University, please follow the instructions to register and deregister for exams and resits.
Unable to sit an exam?
- If you are unexpectedly unable to sit an exam, you must deregister at least one week before the exam via Osiris. Failure to de-register in time will result in an ‘ND’ (niet deelgenomen = no show). This may have consequences for your judicium.
- If you become ill within five working days prior to the exam, please contact the Student Information Point (STIP) of the faculty that is administering your exam.
