Radboud Teachers Academy
Would you like to become a teacher in secondary education during or after your Arts studies? This is possible with the programs of the Radboud Teachers Academy (RTA). There are several study routes to become a teacher after your Bachelor's or Master's degree.
With a degree program from the RTA, you develop solid pedagogical knowledge, linked to the profession. In addition, we find it important that as a teacher you are creative and innovative, have an inquisitive attitude and develop into a powerful professional with a strong professional identity. Choose an Educational Master (one or two years)
- You follow the one-year Educational Master after your (subject) master. This is available for: Dutch language, German language, English language, French language, Spanish language, Greek & Latin language and History, Art History & Cultural and Arts Education.
- You follow the two-year Educational Master after your bachelor and is a combination of subject content and subject didactics. This master is available for: Dutch language, German language, English language, French language, Spanish language, Greek & Latin language and History.
Want to get acquainted with the teaching profession during your bachelor studies?
- Then follow the Educational Minor. You do this in the third year, takes one semester and is part of your own bachelor. Combined with your bachelor's degree, it will give you a limited second-degree secondary education certification.
