Completing academic year 2021-2022
Binding Study Advice (BSA)
For first-year bachelor students of the Faculty of Arts, a binding study advice of 38.5 EC applies. You are not allowed to continue your studies if you do not meet this standard at the end of the first academic year.
Application for diplomas and certificates
Have you passed all courses of your bachelor's programme, pre-master's programme, or master's programme? Then apply for your diploma or certificate as soon as possible.
If you have submitted a request to the examination board, please wait for the result before requesting your diploma.
If you want to obtain your bachelor's or master's degree this academic year, you must pass your last exam or thesis before 1 September. If you fail to do so, you will have to re-enrol via Studielink for next academic year.
If you are continuing your studies at Radboud University, you must re-enrol for the 2022-2023 academic year via Studielink. Please do so as soon as possible: your registration at Radboud University needs to be completed by 31 August 2022 at the latest, otherwise you can only be registered per 1 October 2022. This may affect your registration for education, your public transport travel product, and your student grant. For urgent questions about this, please contact the Central Student Desk.
Check in Studielink whether your registration has been completed. If you are not sure, please contact the Central Student Desk. If anything is missing on 1 September 2022, your access to the Student Portal and Osiris will be blocked. Are you able to log into the Student Portal and Osiris, but are you having problems with course and seminar registrations? Then contact the Student Information Point (STIP).
Will you be starting a master's programme at our faculty next year? Please register via Studielink for the master’s specialisation you wish to enrol for. Make sure you have applied in time for your bachelor's degree, your pre-master's certificate, or the admission statement.
Will you sit for your last bachelor exams in July or August? Then you must re-enrol for the bachelor and submit an application for registration for the master. Your registration for the master can only become active once the bachelor exam has been processed. This may not be until September.
Registration during thesis
When you are taking courses, you need to be registered as a student. This also applies when you are working on your bachelor or master thesis and when you are receiving some form of supervision. So make sure you are always registered as a student. If you are not registered while you are working on your thesis, this can lead to a fine.
Courses and exams academic year 2022-2023
Before each new academic year, important affairs are established, such as the annual calendar, study guides, EERs and schedules.
Below you will find, per item, when and where this information is available for the new academic year.
With the beginning of a new academic year, a study programme may have been adjusted, or certain courses may be rescheduled or no longer offered. The adjustments are laid down in a transitional arrangement. These transitional arrangements can be found in the OER of your program. If you have any questions, please contact your study advisor.
Registration for courses, exams and resits
You can register for courses and accompanying seminars in the new academic year from 29 June until 13 July at the latest. When you register for a course, you are automatically registered for the first opportunity of the exam.
After successful registration for a course and/or exam/resit, you will receive a confirmation in Osiris Announcements and in your student email inbox. Please keep this confirmation, as it is proof that you have registered. Please contact the STIP if you have not received this confirmation.
Registration during the academic year
Please keep the deadlines for courses and exams/resits in mind when registering during the academic year and register on time.
Without a valid registration in Studielink (including payment of tuition fees) you cannot register for courses and/or exams/resits in Osiris and cannot participate in the courses.
Occupation during the summer period
Of course, we are also at your service during the summer period.
The STIP desk has shorter opening hours: they are open on business days from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
On the page of your study advisor, you can find when the study advisor is absent and who you can contact in his/her absence.
The Examination Board also works with limited hours, namely Monday 09:00 am - 1:00 pm, Tuesday all day, Wednesday 09:00 am - 1:00 pm and Thursday all day.
