Overview of how-to guides:

  • On your computer, send print jobs to the “FollowMe” print queue.

New pin on your screen

  • Log in to a printer using your campus card, PIN, or U/E/S/F number and RU password.

On this screen, you can choose “Print all” before you log in. If you enable this, all your jobs will be printed immediately after being sent.

Press copy

  • Click on “SafeQ Print”.
  • Select your print job(s) or choose “Select all”.
  • Press the blue start button on the printer.

Printing on ICT-managed workstations

The queue must be properly set up on your computer. You only have to set this up once. Setting up the print queue is explained below.

If you had previously selected your personal preferences, you will have to do this again. To do this, following these steps: Click the start button (Windows logo) and then “Devices and printers”, right-click “FollowMe” and then click “Personal printing preferences”.

Setting up the print queue on an RU workstation

  • Click on the Start button (Windows symbol) and then on “Devices and Printers”.
  • Right-click “FollowMe” and then choose “Set as default printer”.

Printing – non-ISC-managed workstations

On workstations that are not managed by ISC or C&CZ, you will also have to set up the queue yourself. How this works depends on the operating system. For instructions, click on the relevant operating system:

Please note: to do this, you must be logged into “Eduroam” using your Radboud login information.

Print jobs removed after 24 hours

To prevent overloading the storage capacity of the printing server with excessive printing volumes, print jobs are stored for 24 hours. If this time period has lapsed, you will need to resend the print job.

Power saving mode

If the printer display is black, this does not necessarily mean the printer is turned off. If the light on the button on the left of the console is blue, then the machine is on, but is in power saving mode. Press the button or tap the screen and the machine will light up and be ready to operate.

Power Saving Mode

For MacOS users who cannot link the print queue, printing via Web_Upload on the website is the solution.
