Anouk Rijs new editor at Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics journal

Date of news: 13 January 2016

The international journal Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (PCCP) has welcomed Anouk Rijs, assistant professor in Molecular and Biophysics at the FELIX Laboratory, as their newest associate

AnoukRijsAnouk Rijs is an expert on infrared action spectroscopy for the structural characterization and conformation dynamics of peptides. She recently developed a research program at Radboud University on the far-infrared and terahertz spectroscopy to probe soft vibrational motions which are directly related to the secondary structure of peptides and peptide aggregates.

“PCCP is one of my favourite journals, so I am very much looking forward to this editorship”, Rijs explains. “Besides selecting and reading articles and looking for appropriate referees, I will also be advising on the scientific direction general policy of the journal. I am excited to use my knowledge and expertise for these tasks.”
