Best poster prize CHAINS 2021
Date of news: 10 December 2021
Wednesday 8 December, our PhD student Kim Steenbakkers won the prize for best poster in the category ' Fundamentals and Methods of Chemistry ' at NWO CHAINS 2021. CHAINS (CHemistry as INnovative Science) is the annual Dutch chemistry conference where chemists in science and industry come together, from PhD students and postdocs to professors and R&D scientists.
The online poster session with over 300 posters was well visited. With around 50 posters in the category 'Fundamentals and Methods of Chemistry' there was certainly enough competition. Kim: "People were generally very interested to see how such a small ion (C2H+) could give the complicated and strange spectrum shown on my poster."
