Erna Gouwens-van Oss, Secretary

"My main goal is to offer support to all staff, students and guests, so that they can focus on their own tasks. Next to taking care of our researchers and external guests and providing practical assistance, I organize events such as the NNV meeting AMO Lunteren every year. The door to my office is always open, so please don’t hesitate to contact me for questions.

I started working for Radboud University in 2001 as a secretary at the Molecular and Biophysics research group. In 2010, I became the secretary for the IMM Board and Iwan Holleman. Seven years later it was time for the next step, secretary at HFML-FELIX.

In my job, I love the fact that I meet a great diversity of people. Every week, external guests from all over the world come and go. Also, because I organize many conferences, I often see these familiar faces again. This way I've been able to develop some personal relationships with our external guests, which is very nice."
