Hussey has received a prestigious € 2.5 million grant from the European Research Council (ERC) to study the flow of charge in exotic metals and superconductors under extreme conditions. Ultimate goal: to understand superconductivity and create a pathway towards room temperature.

The Translational Metabolic Laboratory (TML) at the Radboudumc and the FELIX Laboratory have recently developed an internationally unique, advanced technology centre for metabolic biomarker identification. The researchers will now establish a metabolite identification service that will be open to interested parties worldwide. In addition to the field of inborn errors of metabolism, molecular structure identification is critical in many other medical fields.
