Education award 2015

The 2015 education award of Radboud University’s Faculty of Science was awarded to dr. Alix McCollam, senior scientist in correlated electron systems at the High Field Magnet Laboratory.

With the education award, the Faculty of Science aims to honour a noteworthy accomplishment in education that has a long lasting impact. There were seven nominees in total this year (Wim Gielen, Erik Koelink, Colin Logie, Alix McCollam, Bas van de Meerakker, Peter Schwabe and Cornelia Welte).

alixRadboud University’s Institute for Molecules and Materials (IMM) states that “ (…) the jury decided unanimously that Alix McCollam from the High Field Magnet Laboratory deserves the 2015 faculty education award. The main reason was that with few teaching experience as a researcher, she succeeded to impress all ranks in the faculty education field: from students to peer docents to the board of the educational institute."
