Jan Kees Maan receives MSSJ life-time achievement award

The Magneto-Science Society of Japan (MSSJ) has given Professor Jan Kees Maan the MSSJ lifetime achievement award. The price has been presented on November 15th 2017 by the president of the MSSJ, Professor Isao Yamamoto, in a special ceremony during the 12th annual meeting of the MSSJ, in the clock tower of Kyoto University. Jan Kees Maan has received the award for his outstanding efforts and commitment on magneto science in general and more specifically for the development of the High Field Magnet Laboratory Nijmegen and the application of high magnetic fields to soft matter.
