Application and admission
An honours programme is extremely rewarding: it challenges you on a personal level, it gives you new tools that you can use during both your studies and in your future career, and it introduces you to new people. But it also requires a considerable time investment on your part. The honours programme is offered alongside your regular degree programme, which means you are expected to devote the necessary time to it.
Application
You can apply using the online application form. The selection committee will assess the candidates based on motivation, potential and study results. The extended application deadline is 15 May 2023.
The most suitable candidates will be invited to an application interview. You will hear whether you've been conditionally admitted to the programme within two weeks of the interview date. Permanent admission is given based on the grades achieved by the time the programme begins.
Motivational letter
Make clear in your letter:
- What is your motivation to apply for the honours programme Social Sciences
- What makes you a suitable candidate to take the extra programme next to your regular degree.
- What are your ambitions: how do you see your future career? Add to your motivational letter in one file your CV and grades you’ve achieved so far and upload this using the online application form.
