How do you change your RU password on your Windows phone?

Please note:

* Do not forget to disable the Internet and Wi-Fi connections on all of your mobile devices.

Step 1

Change your password in the Accountportal, before changing the password on your mobile devices.

Step 2

Change the RU password for your RU e-mail

1. Select the arrow in the bottom right corner of your screen.
2. Scroll down and select Settings.
3. Select email & accounts.
4. Select your RU mail.
5. Enter your new password and select the box ‘server requires encrypted connection’. A check mark appears.
6. Click the other check mark (below).

Step 3

If you are on campus, change the RU password for the Eduroam Wi-Fi network

1. Turn on the Internet or Wi-Fi on your Windows Phone.
2. Select the arrow in the bottom right corner of your screen.
3. Scroll down and select Settings.
4. Select Wi-Fi.
5. Press and hold eduroam and select remove.
6. Select eduroam.
7. Enter your u-, e- or s-number followed by @ru.nl and enter your new password.
8. Select ‘Done’.
9. Select ‘Accept’.

You have now finished changing the RU password for your iPad or iPhone.
