Wouter van Harten gets 1st prize at SIAM Hackathon

Wouter van Harten (Radboud University), Ikrom Akramov (Hamburg University of Technology) and Tjeerd Jan Heeringa (University of Twente) won the SIAM Hackathon [video link] at SIAM CSE23.
The winning solution was obtained by suggesting, implementing, and pitching a divide-and-conquer algorithm to schedule the delivery of packages by delivery robots in warehouses, a problem offered by KUKA. Congratulations!
