- Description

AbstractIn this seminar I will address various applications of machine learning to quantum systems, focusing on concrete examples such as supervised learning for phase transitions (from snapshots and from dynamics), unsupervised learning (generative models) for quantum states, and the application of such methods to experiments (e.g. spin-qubit readout and tuning). If time allows I will also provide insight into reinforcement learning for control of simple quantum systems.
