It is our pleasure to invite you to our first AI lecture. The AI lecture series is intended to inform and inspire IMM researchers who are (interested in) applying AI methods or are curious about these methods and wonder why they can apply it to their own research questions.
The Data Science group of dr. Twan van Laarhoven develops theory and methods for scalable machine learning and information retrieval to analyze big data and address challenging problems in science and society. The Data Science group is involved in various projects with other groups, both within and outside the Radboud University. In this lecture examples will be given of machine learning applied to chemical and physical problems.
The presentation is followed by discussion and lunch.
