Kick-Off Meeting project Global Strategy for Skills, Migration and Development

Date of news: 22 January 2024

The EU Horizon2020 project Global Strategy for Skills, Migration and Development (GS4S) will hold its Kick-Off Meeting this February 5, 6 and 7.

The project, led by CMR’s Tesseltje de Lange, seeks to better understand global skills shortages, and proposes both innovative labour migration governance in selected sectors (IT, care and construction) as well as alternatives for addressing these shortages. It ultimately aims to contribute to a socially sustainable, well-being oriented global strategy for skills.

Members of the interdisciplinary Consortium will be attending from Austria, Belgium, Egypt, Estonia, Italy, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Together the partners will get to know each other and plan their collaboration for the next three years. Stay tuned for the project website, to launch following this event!
