Description | Asylum procedures can be characterized by a lack of reliable information, limitations to of the possibilities to gather information and difficulties to assess the available information. Nevertheless, the applicant has to demonstrate his asylum application to be credible, and the government is obligated to assess the information provided by the asylum seeker and to decide on his asylum application diligently. The exact scope of the study has yet to be determined, but will touch upon on the role expert advice plays in reducing the level of uncertainty in the asylum procedure. |
