International PhD Programme
As a PhD candidate you will pursue a doctorate degree, our most advanced law degree designed for aspiring legal academics who wish to conduct study and research in business law. You will be supervised by our professors and are invited to fully participate in our Graduate School, which offers a tailor-made study programme to support your development. We fully facilitate your research without charging any tuition or college fees. In general, the duration of the doctoral research is four years. International and comparative research
The institute has an extensive international network in both the academic world and legal practice. It has a structural collaboration with the University of Oxford (UK), the University of Leuven (Belgium) and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg (Germany).
Researchers of the institute regularly publish volumes with leading international publishing houses (notably Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press). Prominent examples include:
