Michael Veder has been appointed vice dean of research of the Law Faculty
Michael Veder has been appointed vice dean of research of the Law Faculty by the Radboud University Executive Board from 1 March 2018. Veder succeeds Piet Hein van Kempen, who took office as dean of the Law Faculty on 1 January.
Since 2012, Veder has been a professor of Private Law, more specific Insolvency Law, at the Nijmegen Law Faculty. As of 2015, he has also been a visiting professor at the Nottingham Law School at Nottingham Trent University. More information about his teaching and research can be found on his profile page.
The faculty board is composed of a dean, two vice deans, and an administrative director. The vice dean of education is responsible for handling educational policy and educational affairs, while the vice dean of research handles research policy and research affairs. A student assessor also acts as an advisory member of the faculty board. This person represents the interests of the students in board matters.
