Willem C. Vis Moot Court hosted online, Nijmegen faculty team still in the race
Date of news: 7 April 2020
Because of the coronavirus, the annual international moot competition 'Willem C. Vis Moot Court' is held online for the first time in 27 years. The Nijmegen faculty team is currently still participating in the competition.
Over the past days, the Nijmegen team pleaded against teams from Iran, China and Ukraine. The team is now wrapping up its final session against RUDN University from Russia. The unusual circumstances required a great degree of flexibility and short-term planning from the team. After 18:00 tonight, the team will hear whether they belong to the final 64 teams that will proceed to the elimination rounds, which will last until Thursday. Updates about the team's efforts are placed on on their Facebook page.
