Niels Stensen Fellowship awarded to Lonneke Peperkamp

Peperkamp LonnekeAssistant Professor of Legal Philosophy Lonneke Peperkamp has recently been awarded the Niels Stensen Fellowship for her research project on human rights and poverty. This Fellowship is awarded annually to young, talented researchers to enable them to gain research experience at a top university or institute abroad.

The research project focuses on the position of people living in extreme poverty worldwide, maps out resources with which they can claim the right to a subsistence minimum, and provides a normative framework for assessing such resources. The project is housed at the Cluster of Excellence 'Normative Orders', Goethe University Frankfurt. Lonneke Peperkamp will be working in Frankfurt for a year from August 2019 onwards.
